Aloha, I'm so glad you're here! My name is Blessing and nutrition is one of my greatest passions. This is because I love good food and a way to live self-sustainably. I believe everything in our life is a relationship and after experiencing years of digestive issues throughout childhood and my young adult years, I was tired of hearing that medications or other invasive procedures were the best options the doctors could recommend. I wanted to heal myself naturally, without the dependency of pills or more doctor appointments that only remedied my conditions temporarily. Through intense searching and researching, I eventually learned how to re-create my relationship with food, along with detoxification methods and other modalities that were life changing. Real food became my healing medicine, ultimately opening up my life to more joy and freedom.

As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), I create bio-individual programs to improve your gut health, using real food with a focus on detoxification. We work together to find nutritional deficiencies or imbalances in your body with a holistic, foundational approach, and I give you the tools you need to re-balance your whole being, while supporting you every step of the way. I offer one-on-one consulting and group classes.

What is nutritional therapy?

A holistic, functional, and bio-individual approach to how we eat and live. We use specialized tools for assessing your symptoms and concerns to identify your specific needs and possible influences that are causing your imbalances. We approach your therapy by applying five nutritional foundations - digestion, blood sugar regulation, healthy fats, mineral balance, and hydration, all based on a properly prepared, nutrient-dense, whole food diet. We work to balance your body's chemistry on a cellular level, through your diet, possible supplements, and lifestyle modifications. Most importantly, we help connect you with your body's innate ability to heal but in a way that doesn't need to be overwhelming.

I am dedicated to supporting your unique needs and assisting you on your journey so that all systems in your body can regain balance and function optimally.

We live in a time now where the pace of life has significantly increased and the need for quick meals is increasing while home cooking is decreasing. Real foods are being jeopardized by modern methods and our health is declining as a human race. To truly be healthy takes a lot more knowledge and effort now more than ever before in history. Weeding through the chaos of WHAT and HOW we should eat can seem endless, overwhelming, and who can we trust? How do we get out of the matrix that keeps us trapped in habits we know aren’t healthy for us? Every one of us needs support and guidance and when we receive that, we can let go of some of that burden to give space for change and healing in our lives.

As humans, we carry innate wisdom like all organisms on our planet. Together we strive to enhance this wisdom within you and discover which diet or lifestyle modifications give or take away your energy or mental and emotional balance.

From the hunter-gatherer days to our modern-day society, the traditions of our ancestors have taught us how the quality and good sourcing of foods bring about self-sustainable communities and a co-creative, thriving environment. Now, after millennia of revolutions and nutritional milestones, we are subject to modern methods that disconnect us from the elements which kept our ancestors free of the diseases we currently see. They have removed us from our unique, God-given blueprint that only we ourselves can find the answers to, on our personal healing journey within. Our connection to food and understanding its true power are vital components to adapting and utilizing the spirit of our ancestors innate intelligence into our present lives.

Nutrition is the only remedy that can bring full recovery and can be used with any treatment. Remember, food is our best medicine!
